In their "Best of 2008" issue, the staff at The Metro Times of Detroit, Michigan voted us Best Barbecue. Though they mention it being "wierd to go to Canada for barbeque", we'd like to mention that we're actually south of Detroit with a playful wink and a healthy nudge. Well, now we can increase all menu prices by 25 percent, and start demanding that eveyone bring their own tupperware for left-overs. Just kidding! We'll just keep doing what we do...tasty, honest, southern barbeque.

From the hours we spend preparing dinner in anticipation of your arrival, to the way we'll treat you like family when you get here, you'll get that warm and fuzzy feelin' at Smoke & Spice. We have some of Windsor's most seasoned servers, and they know how to entertain, not just take orders and carry plates. The kitchen crew gets there early and stays late every day, loading and unloading our six-hundred-pound-capacity woodburning Southern Pride "pit" barbeque. It almost never stops churning out our specialties, but there's just no substitute for real, slow, wood-smoked barbeque!
Our Pit Boss Salad comes topped with your choice of smoked beef brisket or pulled pork, and is served with our house BBQ Ranch dressing.
